Introduction
Whole Body Reflex Zones – A Novel & Effective Approach to Ehanced Acupuncture and Massage/Acupressure/Tui-Na
The reflex zones are distributed all over the human body, which mainly consists of the three types: somatic, visceral and central zones, which have their own specific distribution rules respectively: the somatic zones on the whole body surface, but mainly on the yang aspect; the visceral zones principally on the yin aspect of the body and their adjacent locations; the central zones distributed in the middle line of the trunk in addition to the head and the border regions between the yang and yin sides of the limbs. Their distribution range and borders can be identified and determined by the known classical fourteen meridians and their acupoints.
This colorful wall chart (actual size 24″ x 36″, Both English and Chinese Narrated ) is designed specifically for various bodywork professionals (acupuncturists, massage therapists, chiropractors, physical therapists, reflexologists and others). It shows the distribution details about the three types of reflex zones and their subtypes with 16 colorful illustrations on the anterior, lateral and posterior views. It is very easy and convenient to apply them in clinical practice. Stimulating these reflex zones properly, such as administrating acupuncture, acupressure or massage on corresponding reflex zones can help many health problems, including somatic, visceral and central disorders.
